I'm getting DNS event error: 6702 DNS - which I think is coming from the RRAS/VPN interface on one of my 3 W2K DC Servers.

How do I turn off the attempted DNS registration on that RRAS interface(10.0.0.132)on my W2K DC?

I'm thinking that the IP of the LAN interface (10.0.0.10) is registering DNS just fine.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

Go to the TCP/IP Properties, click on advanced and hit th DNS tab.

At the bottom of this sheet there is your option to Register in DNS, which is checked by default. Uncheck and you're all set.
