Attempting to close gives an error. Is there an easy way to tell if a DAO recordset is open?

thanks

Something like this ?
If Not myRS = Nothing Then myRS.Close
Any way the following code should close the recordset:
Set myRS = Nothing

Hope This Help, PH.
