Hi guys,

I want to stop auto-login stuff.
This is the symptom; There are 2 9608G desk phones say phone-A and phone-B, you login #2001 on phone-A and then you login #2001 on phone-B too WITHOUT logging out from phone-A.
In this scenario #2001 will be kicked out from phone-A and moved to phone-B.
Now, when you logout #2001 on phone-B, phone-A will notice it and automatically login #2001.
Can you stop this an auto logon thing?

Thanks for your support in advance.

Give the phones a different extension number like 3001 and 3002.

Thanks intrigrant
It is not a solution to stop an auto logging-in (auto extension recover?) feature.
Is there any tick/untick setting somewhere?
Thanks

Telephony>Forced log in.

In case of fire do not use lift.

Try a fire extinguisher.

If you have hotdesking users it makes more sense if the base extensions doesn't match the user extensions.
But as holdmusic34 said Force Login will stop them from being logged on a matching base extension when they logout from another phone.
