How to startup the LG-Nortel / LG Ericsson neXer - ipLDK-24

I have this question quite a few times lately therefore this "How to startup the neXer - ipLDK-24" is written.

1.
Normally the IP address of the standard neXer - ipLDK-24 is fixed and set to 192.168.1.1 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0
2.
Standard user ID and code is: admin / admin.
3.
Set your laptop to use the following IP address 192.168.1.1 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0.
4.
Use the LAN port closest to the cover. USB connector is not in use.

Point 3 should be:

Set your laptop to use the following IP address 192.168.1.9 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0.

There can be issues and problems using Explorer version 8, so sometimes you will have to use IE7 or IE6.
