Dear Experts;

Compliments of the New Season and a Happy New Year.
I am having a hard time in starting a NFS client, can someone please send me a step-by-step on how to setup or start up an NFS client?

I have tried all the possible triks in the books but without any positive outcome.

Thank you very much for your help.

what exactly is the problem?
If it is a "standard" installation your autofs will mount you the FS from the NFS Server by changing to /net/hostname/filesystem

to configure automounter look at /etc/auto_master and /etc/auto_home

Make sure daemons nfsd and statd are running on your client. These daemons are started by an rc script in /etc/rc2.d. Make sure the files you are trying to get to on the NFS client are being shared by the NFS server.
