how to split up one pdf file into many PDF files

Does anybody know how to split up one main pdf file into multiple pdf files using acrobat 6.0?
For example I got a whole book in pdf (book.pdf) and I want to separate chapters and create another PDF file like content.pdf, chapter1.pdf, chapter2.pdf etc.
If yes, can you give me some instructions.

Did you search the forum? There are many posts on this topic.

You can either do this

1) manually, through actions on the Document Menu

2) with JavaScript

3) with a 3rd party tool
