Hello guys...
Our Exchange server 2k sp3 run a 200Gb store. This is so big and painfull...
I know it's possible to split it into multiple files. (I know the best way is to have multiple servers but we don't have budjet for that at this time).
Where can I find information about how to split the store?
Or if someone whant to talk about his experience with that it will be great.
By the way into how many files can I split it??

Again thank you for your precious help.
:)

You can create a new private store or a new database in the current store using the exchange system manager. Then move the mailboxes to the new store using the active directory users / computers tool...

I beleive you can create up to 4 storage groups and 5 databases in each storage group.. but I beleive that is for the normal version... but I can be mistaking....
