I need to mount my windows shares from a RedHat8 machine. I am not a liberty to install a samba client on the RH8.

From the windows site I downloaded the SFU (Services for Unix) package but I'm having trouble understanding where to look int the help to learn how to expose my Windows shares to RH8.

Can anyone tell me how t do do this?

Thanks!

Siegfried

As far as I know you can use SFU to mount NFS shares on a Unix/Linux box and allow Windows to see it. If you want to allow RedHat to see Windows shares without using Samba, you will prob need to create an NFS share on the Windows box (don't know if SFU does this)
