how to setup remote database connection?

Hi,

I need help on setup remote database connection on DreamWeaver MX. This is what I did.

I created site.
I set document type to "Coldfusion".
Then I created testing server. The testing server is using FTP.
Now, I'm facing a problem that I don't know how to use local DSN to connect remote MS SQL 2000 server. I did successfully in ASP setup by using "local DSN setting" but when I create the site with document type to Coldfusion, it doesn't have that function. I already spend all day to figure it out but no luck -.-

I had exactly the smae problem. Sorry to say, never really cracked it and went back to using asp.

why use coldfusion ?
