I have a Hunt Group setup on my Definity G3 and I have an announcement setup on the switch also.

When I dial the hunt group if all my users are in "AUX-Works" I get a busy signal. When on of them goes in to "Auto-In" then it will ring through. But one of the users has to be on a line in order for the caller to hear the announcement.

Can anybody help me set this up correctly so I can have callers hear the 2 announcements while the users in the hunt group can be on other lines at the same time or in "Aux-Work"?

Thanks.....

announcement is use for hunt-group in query state , for example , only one member of agent recieve call , then the second call in query that can recieve the announcement, Or you can use vector method to control announcement, but vector licence is need to buy.

Sounds like you're using the Hunt-group that is not vector controlled, with the announcements as to be played in queue. When all agents are "logged-out", calls will not go in queue. This could be solved by giving the hunt-group it's own coverage-path and put the announcement-extension in the coverage path as point1. If you need more help on this, just give me the sign...
Good luck. Kind Regards,

Hi "mcopini",

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure if I follow you on your suggestion.

Can you give some more help on this on how to set it up?

I appreciate it.

If you make a new coverage path for the hunt-group, and set the coverage criteria for busy to yes and give it the announcement-extension as the first coverage-point, callers will hear that announcement when they call and all the agents are in AUX-wrk. The announcement people hear when agents are in AUTO-IN but on a call, is the announcement that is filled in in the hunt-group form in the field 1st announcement extension which appears if you set queue to yes.

Remember all these options will not be used when the hunt-group is vector-controlled.
Hope this helps.

Mcopini,

I am going to try that right now. When I do a list coverage paths and then look in on of the coverage paths there is a "POINT1:" section there with a value of h7 and on a another coverage path there is a value of "C1". What are those values telling me and where are they going to?

Thanks...

h7=hunt group 7
c1=cover answer group 1
disp hunt 7
disp cov ans 1

hope this helps...
