how to set up two nic cards

i want to set up iis i have a router now what i would like to do is put two nic cards in the computer running iis and have that outside the router and the have the one nic card to the cable modem and the have the other nic card to the WAN port on the router so the other computer in the network can be behide the firewall that is built into the router it is a linksys router. if someone could help me comfigure this i would be very greatful

Check out if you're looking to have a server-only computer connected to the internet. This software doesn't need much to run, I had it as a cable modem server and the comp was an AMD K5-133. It's easiest to use with isa nic's, because you can easily set up the port and interrupt on isa cards easier - and even at 10mbits/sec, the isa cards are far more bandwith than a cable modem can reach. Software's been running for a little more than a year for me with no hassles whatsoever - although I can't say the same about AT&T's quality...
