I get spam in my outlook w/ the Red Flag on and Subject/email in Red font. I would like to do this for internal company employees so my email STICKS out.
the flag is set when the message importance is set to high and the column colours is done by customising the view and having an Automatic Formatting rule set that when the importance is high the message appears in red.
View -> Current View -> Customize Current View... -> Automatic Formatting... -> Add...
in properties name the rule, say 'Important' and set the font
Condition... -> More Choices -> check 'Whose importance is' and pick high from the drop down Ok everything and Off you go.
Doubtful whether you can apply this rule globally though, as an admin function.
Chris.
Indifference will be the downfall of mankind, but who cares?
As ChrisHirst pointed out, this appearance is only based on the recipient's rules, settings, or organizational techniques. As the sender, the only thing you can set is the Priority settings.
thanks guys, seems that way, i know how to set it for
"recieving" email, but when I recieved it, they were already set. The email though, was spam and was probably not sent from an exchange/outlook client.
I was hoping i could set this when i send out something important and wanted it to stick out.
Simply flag the message for follow up 1 month behind the current date. So today being May 31st, I would set my flag for follow up for April 29th or the like.
