how to seperate the edit entry into 4 parts in MFC?

how to devide a edit box field into 4 parts? that is to make it the same format as the ip address? and put on an initial 0 in each of the 4 octets?

oh...i found the edit box for ip address...
but how to use the GetAddress() method to retrieve each field the user enters?
