I can access my samba shares from a WinXP client. But when I select a subfolder of the share (using Explorer on WinXP) and select properties I don't get the same information as I get when I select properties for a local directory on the WinXP.
Specifically what I lack is the number of files and their total size sum of the that directory.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
The property dialog that does show up for the share says that the operating system is Win NT 4.9 ! It isn't, it is Mandrake 9.1. ...
