I would like to know how I can schedule multiple unattended batch rendering jobs off of a single timeline in a project.
My home movie DVD projects consist of a single project per tape I wish to convert. In this project I insert scene material made up of continues set of clips. Then put some blank space on the timeline between the next scene made up of more continues clips. This way I end up of everal scenes on the same time line separated by empty space which I do not wish to render to MPG2 format.
I currently have to manually set work-area around a scene, render that portion to a MPG2 file, then set work-area around the next scene and render again and so on.
I end up with several MPG2 files, each named differently which I can easily import into my DVD authoring software which creates menus for each of the MPG2 files.
Unfortunately the DVD authoring software from Sonic is dumb enough to only allow creation of menu items (Chapters or cells) from distinct MPG2 files. I have a more professional software Impression DVD Pro from Pinnacle, but that software is over-kill for my purposes. There I know I could use chapter markers in premier, render everything into a single MPG2 file instead of separate individual files.
Any suggestions would be apprechiated.
Cheers,
