How to Run crystal.exe from access

I have a crystal report that would export data to chr format. I need to be able to do this at the press of a button on a access 2000 form.
Shell "e:\hours.exe", vbNormalFocus only opens the exe and then the user has to choose export options. Is there any way to pass this from access while calling the exe. Please help.

As with most technical issues, this is dependent upon your version of Crystal.
