Hello, I'm a newbie in this theme. I'm looking for how to route all inbound calls to an VDN on ISDN Trunk, and then, process this calls in a vector.

In the Analog Trunk (CO type) appears the "incoming destination" field under the "night service" field,...

...BUT in the Digital trunk type ISDN the "incoming destination" NOT APPEARS !!...

why ? I dont know. :-(

Please help me with any tips or suggestions.

Thanks you very much in advance.
Sincerely.
Conrado.

create the VDN using the last four digits of the delivery number from your trunk and Definity will automatically route to that VDN
For example if the inbound number feeding from your trunk is 0141 880 1581, you would create a VDN 1581 and the switch would route the inbound calls to that VDN

Hope this helps

John

Thanks very much ScottyJohn for your help... but it still do not route inbound calls.

My main number is 4615000, and then I create an VDN with extension 5000 and a vector x, but when dial to 4615000, the process of vector x do not start. (it is right way to do?)

Any change I must to do in my central? reset? logoff-logon? any field on the ISDN trunk to change? any Call Center Optional Feature to add? or anyelse? I have the definity BCS with G3 Version: V6.

This is my Vectoring and VDN related Call Center Optional Features List:

Vectoring (Basic)? y
Vectoring (Prompting)? y
Vectoring (G3V4 Enhanced)? n
Vectoring (ANI/II-Digits Routing)? n
Vectoring (G3V4 Advanced Routing)? n
Vectoring (CINFO)? n
Vectoring (Best Service Routing)? n
VDN of Origin Announcement? n
VDN Return Destination? n

Please help me. Thanks in advance again.
Sincerely
Conrado

Conrado,

first try to check page 3 in the incoming trunk form. This should state the incoming call handling treatment. If the incoming digits from your pstn are 4615000, the form should look like this:

Service/ Called Called Del Insert Per Call
Feature Len Number CPN/BN

public-ntwrk 7(?) 4615000 3 (?) none

The Called length and the number of deleted digits depend on the length of the digit string the PSTN send to your switch. Please check this out before looking further. Good luck.

Cheers,

Maarten

Dear Maarten,

Your suggestion is the solution!, in my case the format is:

Service/ Called Called Del Insert Per Call
Feature Len Number CPN/BN

public-ntwrk 3 000 3 5000 none

in this way all the inbound calls on the ISDN Trunk are rerouted to internal number 5000, in this case my VDN.

THANKS YOU VERY VERY VERY MUCH!!

:-D
Conrado.
