how to roll over VM debug log file? 2

Anyone know how to force a log rollover for the VM debug program? There's a button for this in Monitor, but I can't seem to find one for Debug.

You cant.

It has a 4 meg buffer.

Avaya did write me a debug that created a new file every 4 meg and kept creating files every four meg. But ive lost it.

Hmmm... so if I have to reboot the server due to a failure, I lose the last bit of my debug output, NO?

Seems like I'd lose the very data I'm using Debug to capture.

The debug info is written to the dbgout.txt file.

That should remain.

Avaya emailed me a version of debugview that allows you to log the debugout.txt file in exactly the same way monitor does.

Provide me with your email and i can flick it on if you like.

If you can get to it prior to the reboot you can do a copy of the test and save it to a document prior to the reboot.

If it does it before you get there thou then it is as good as gone.
