how to reset defaults

I have had some problems with my IIS 5.0, I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the IIS, but for some reason I am not able to use my asp forms to add, edit or delete from an access table. put it on another server and it works, I can't figure out what to do and I really need to have this fixed.

I think it has to do with user permissions, but I can't figure out what it is. Have web set to read and allow scripts, do I need to allow write and executables?

Please be specific since I am SO lost.
