How to rename the EpoServer

How can I/What is the bast method:
to rename the eposerver?


I installed our eposerver with an underscore in its name
now I want to change the "_" with "-".

I'm facing a problem with nonworking notification & rogue... functionality
the underscore could be the problem.

So now I want to change the servername without loosing any settings or data.

I tried simply renaming the server but then I couldn't log into console anymore.


Any correct methods besides reinstalling the server?

I succeeded renaming our eposerver:

First I renamed the servername and then I replaced
the old servername with the new one in following files.

\Program Files\Network Associates\ePO\3.5.0\DB\sitelist.xml

\Program Files\Network Associates\ePO\3.5.0\DB\Software\Current\ePOAgent2000LYNX\Install\0409\siteinfo.ini
\Program Files\Network Associates\ePO\3.5.0\DB\Software\Current\EPOAGENT3000\Install\0409\SiteInfo.ini
\Program Files\Network Associates\ePO\3.5.0\DB\Software\Current\EPOAGENT3000\Install\0409\SiteList.xml
\Program Files\Network Associates\ePO\3.5.0\Imports\DB\Server.Ini
