How to remove station password?

Hi

IP AriaSOHO LG-Nortel System.

I'm having problems to forward an extension to another one, when i do that, it request a password, i don't know why, i haven't set any type of security on extensions. What i'm thinking is that may be it has been activated from factory.

Is there a default password or does anyone know why could this be happening?

This is for every extension i have, same issue.

Did you upgrade this system recently?

We had this issue with ipLDK-100.
To solve it we went to PGM 450 or 452 to upgrade to version xx.
But maybe that is different in ARIA SOHO.

Actually i have the most recent release here, i think is 3.8 for this PBX.

Anyway i'll try to upload the *.usr file from another installation i had.

Any other idea will be appreciated guys.
 

what kind of call forward are you using?

Operation
To activate Call Forward, follow Operation directions in each sub-heading for this section.
To program Call Forward to a Flexible Button, perform the following:
1. Press the [TRANS/FOR] button.
2. Press the flexible button to be assigned.
3. Press the [TRANS/FOR] button.
4. Assign the Call Forward type:
? 1 = Call Forward, Unconditional
? 2 = Call Forward, Busy
? 3 = Call Forward, No Answer
? 4 = Call Forward, Busy/No Answer
? 5 = Unconditional Station Off-Net Call Forward
? 6 = No Answer Station Off-Net Call Forward
? 7 = Incoming CO Off-Net Call Forward
? 8 = Unconditional Station Off-Net Call Forward with Tel Number
? 9 = No Answer Station Off-Net Call Forward with Tel Number
? 0 = Follow Me Call forward
5. Dial the destination that will receive the call.
6. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button.


If you are using type "0" Follow me call forward, then you need authorization code...


 
In PGM 450 or 452 search for the "field" "Upgrade to version 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8.

Mark these fields and restart the system afterwards.

Hi

I' using Unconditional Forwarding, and it's being easy i other systems, but in this one it has been a little bit complicated to implement it.

on the other hand, o PGM 450-452 i don't see that field for "UPGRADE". I'm using PC ADMIN GSNAD-C.8Di 2009-03-30 Console software, and that PGM is for initialization it says.

OK, upgrade must be related to ipLDK-100/300.

So I have some questions:

Is this PBX at the customers site?
Can you roll back to default settings?

If NOT:
Check PGM227 AUTHORIZATION CODE TABLE to see if the extension has aasigned a password.
Chec PgM 111-114 for passwords - for the extension.

Ok i tried everthing but finally i had to roll back settings actully i use the default factory settings option and start over.

That fixed it.
