The problem may not have anything to do with Word - it may be that the Windows Add/Remove programs facility is damaged. Since the message appears to be referring to a specific file, it may be corrupt (hard to say without seeing the rest of the message). Replacing the corrupt file, if that's the problem, may be sufficient.
