Hello All
I recently installed WIN XP on my desktop which is equipped with an HP 932c printer. The printer was found and configured by Windows on the initial boot. However the printer did not function properly (muddled print out). So I downloaded the latest driver from the HP site and tried that and now I get correct print out, but the page does not finish. The printer just squirts the page out after only printing some portion of the document. Also there was some added strangness that seemed to suggest that the driver installation process was not completed (ie. each succesive boot show a prompt to insert the HP install disk...). The printer had been plugged in via a Parallel cable, so I tried a USB cable and a new driver. Now the printer install goes without a hitch but each print job simply hangs with no error message.
I don't exactly know what is going on, but I suspect that a partially loaded driver may be buggering things up. So the short question is; does anyone know how to clear out all references to all printers and their drivers? Once this is done perhaps I can start from scratch...
Thanks
Chris
