Hi there everyone,
I am running Exchange 5.5 sp4 and recently one of my users
is getting a 1000 mails a day from a specific external user.
Is there a way of rejecting mail from this user? My Exchange
box sends mail via DNS but pulls mail from POP using a igetmail(a pop3 connector for Exchange)

Go into Exchange Admin - Goto Server - Interent Connections - Connections - Message FIltering - Add the domain in there - Tick Delete instead of Turf - OK

Any help?

Iain

What about all the other users from that blocked domain who want to send e-mails to you?

Either tough :)
Or add each individual user :(

So either URBanned.com
or Spammer@URBanned.com

Then just stop and start exchange.

Simplicity in its self. But you cannot beat anti-spamming software!

Thanks guys,
I have now done this within the IMC as suggested. I shall let you know how it goes. Though my only concern is that the mail will still arrive at my demon holding accounts and
i do want to stop it even getting there.
