Please let me know the UNIX command to redirect the output of the LIST command into output file.

Try the unix forums. You might try "list > filename"

The answer is "42"

Dear Frank,

I tried to gave the same command and executed the job, but it was failing. I am putting this command in JCL and submitting from mainframe. will that be ok?

Please suggest.
