Hi,

Presently my Outlook is configured to write on a network drive. How do I reconfigure my Outlook 2000 so that I can automatically receive and save my e-mail to a smart drive that I plug into a USB port? I feel that by doing so I will improve security when it comes to my personal e-mail.

Move "Outlook.PST" file from your network drive into smart drive. The next time you open Outlook it will ask you for the PST file. Point it to the new location of the PST file

Thanks for the tip.

After writing the post I realized that I didn't go a little further and ask how I would go about redirecting the rest of the Outlook information such as Calendar, Contacts and Tasks. Also I'm curious to know, since this is a network that I'm working on, is it possible that this information is being copied elsewhere on the system?

The Calendar is part of the PST, so it all moves with it.
You could put PST's elsewhere on the network, but it is HIGHLY recommended NOT to do that.
