How to Put Data into SS

Pretty new to Perl; however, I have figure out how to create workbooks with the Spreadsheet::WriteExcel module. My issue is actually import data into the spreadsheets. My data will be in RTF or TXT format. It is more in the form of a report reporting Risk Criticality rating (High, Medium, Low). It describes the finding, gives a remedy, along with references. There could be over 100 findings in a given report.

Can anyone tell me how to parse the data to get it into the excell spreadsheet. I have not completed my SS so I really don't have an example. Please Help!!

Start with the problems you face, a complete fix is unlikely, unless there's a fee I missed ..

Thanks for the reply. Let me restate my question. Is it possible to parse though a RTF file and pull out certain sentences by key words? Thanks.
