Greeting,

i have some old messeages on my local machine (using MS outlook) and i would like to send them back to the server . (i host my own email) is there anything i could do, so i could put these messages back on the server ?? the reason i'm doing this so i could retrieve my messages from the web

any help will be greatly appreciated,

Thanks

If you use a PST, it cannot be done just like that.
You need to have the delivery in Mailbox on an Exchange server.
Then you can put back the messages.
But, I could be off track since you do not specify what emailserver you use. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

You could forward them to yourself, which will be the simplest solution.

If there are a lot then find a program which can perform batch actions or scripting. You can write your own batch script (Macro) with Outlook to forward any messages to yourself. You could even create a toolbar button to perform this step for any selected e-mails.
