Greetings all,

Truly a novice on Avaya Phone System, so apologies before hand. Is there a command that I can use to show logs from the Avaya System? Perhaps a system log? We are trying to determine if there is a limit on the number of calls from the same number? Does that make sense?

Thanks all,

Richard

I'm not sure exactly what you mean - when you say you are trying to determine if there is a limit on the number of calls from the same number, do you mean if someone from a particular outside phone number, for example 201-123-4567, calls you is there a limit on the number of calls they can place to you? If that's what you mean, I would say the only limit would be on the number of lines or T1 channels you have available to receive the calls.
I'm not aware of any logs that would show you this. A separate CDR package would give you a list of all of the actual inbound telephone numbers that are calling in to your system, plus outbound calls and who placed them.
