I've been sent a couple of files with .drf extensions. Does anyone know what they are and how I can successfully open them?

Many thanks

Hi SueD

This is obvious, but:

Are you sure they're not viruses?
Can you trust the person who sent them to you?

I believe the .drf extension (usa) / extention (uk) is a Borland Delphi file. It is usually created as a temporary file after you use the compiler DCC32.EXE in that software. I would be very wary regardless unless of course you know who sent them. If this is the case, ask that person what they are! Why would they send you a temp file?

If you want more information go here: and do a search as shown with inverted commas
Code:
".drf extension"

Hope this helps

No excuses here, just had a moment I think, but thanks for pointing it out. Don't suppose you've got any advice you can give to SueD (and not help with my spelling please)
