Hi

Im in the UK. can i get my 801 (Bri) to only answer if the call is from a specific telephone number?

Cheers,

Russ

Enter global config, enter the configuration mode for the BRI interface, then enter this command (without the square brackets, of course):

router(config-if)#isdn caller [enter the appropriate phone number here!]

The switch supplying your ISDN service needs to be capable of sending caller ID info... if the switch isn't capable of this, you won't be accepting ANY calls ;-) I imagine your provider should be able to let you know whether or not their equipment supports this feature.
