Hi,
we got a new file server running redhat linux and offer services such as NFS & NIS. the problem is, i'm not sure how to transfer/migrate the data from our old file server running solaris and offer the same services.
i'm thinking of using rsync or maybe rcp to tranfer all the data and run NIS slave at new server then switch it to a master after everything is complete. any better idea? thanks
