Hello,

knows anyone a way how to mount a filedevice/share for all kinds of an user on the W2K3 server?

A user (SAP-system user <SIS>ADM) that log on at the server as dialog task, scheduled job or service should have always the same mounted share/file device from an other server.
I don´t want to set this share as "homedirectory" for this user in his profile.

If I mount the share in the dialog task, the other ways (background and service) don´t see the connected share.

Anyone an idea???

Thanks in advance.

create a batch file that maps the network drive first and then runs the required command. Point the service and scheduled task at this batch file.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

I won´t set the service to "manuell" to start it with a batch file.
I want to have as few as possible manuell works at the server on start up. A start of a service by a batch file it´s a manuell way for me also then it is planned as "start at server startup".
This should not be the preferred way.

More ideas?
