How to make use of onboard video?

I know, this one is like a very basic question, but I just rather ask than get into trouble

I just installed Win2k, the problem is that this pc doesn't have a video card. I never installed an OS in a pc w/out a video card, so I'm not sure how to proceed in order to improve the colors and resolution. I can only see 16 colors and go up to 800x600 res. I suppose now I should make use of the onboard video, right?
How to do that then?
This is the mobo model: PCCHIPS M756LMRT 1
