...in the image supplied, a script font is used, which is naturally pretty angled (italic looking) anyway...
...it is then just rotated to an angle slightly, with a duplicate underneath colored dark blue for the drop shadow effect...
Option 1:
...if you are trying to do it with a naturally straight font, you choose the italic version (if there is one) and rotate slightly...
Option 2:
...if all you have is a straight font, then you can rotate the font slightly, convert to outlines (type > convert to outlines), then use the "free transform" tool, with all outlined text selected, click on a corner bounding handle, whilst holding the mouse button down, press the combination keys:
apple/command + alt/option
...and drag left and right to straighten the text up slightly...
...do note, outlined text is not editable text, in that you can't re-type to change a letter...
Option 3:
...editable text methods can be done by way of an envelope distort, draw a rectangle above text, select both rectangle and text then choose:
object > envelope distort > make with top object
...then adjust the points and handles with the direct select tool (white arrow)...
Option 4:
the better method is to select text then choose:
effect > distort and transform > free distort
...and adjust the preview you see so as to distort correctly...
