I have post this message before, but I didn't got any reply.
Since this problem really give me hard time while I work with SQLsever 2000,I post it again to ask for help!
in SQL server2000,under Enterprise Manager window the database folder display no items,I can not find any database even master.but in Query Analyzer ther is a dropdown box about database list , I can find my database there, and can retrive any data.
Could some tell me how to make the database show up in enterprise manager window? Any hint and help will be appreciated. Thanks

You probably just need to register your server in enterprise manager. Right click on the server group and one option will be to register. Follow the prompts.

Hi,cmmrfrds
Thanks for you reply. My server already registered in server group.your suggestion make me think that there is something wrong in registeration.so I try to edit something about it.Before that we use SQL Authentication ,this time I change connection property to using windows Authentication ,the database show up!then I change it back to using SQL authentication, the database show up too!
Thanks for your suggestion,I appreciated it very much.I'm just curious about the reason why it suddendly disappear? any thoughts?
