How to make an time-based automated CF functions? I want to be able to do a query continously but with time intervals to check my complaint list whether there is a case more than one week, if there is mail a notice to me. But i want this function to run at background without click any link to activate the query. Anybody knew about this?

How to make automated CF application?

If you have access to the CF admin, you can schedule a script to run at regular intervals through the automated tasks section. If you don't have this ability, you can use the <cfschedule> tag which offers the same functionality. Both of these will allow you to schedule a script to execute at regular intervals and even store the output of the script in a file.
