I have a Win2K server on a remote location and it's connected to the internet by DSL going through a Linksys Router. From my remote location I am also connected to the Net by DSL also through a Linksys Router.

I wanted to be able to log-on to my Win2K server domain and work as if I was part of my remote network. My client PCs are Win XP Pro Is this possible? How do I do this? When I boot up my PC the only option before I log-on with Username and Password is > Dial-up which will be too costly.

Would appreciate your tips.

This will most likely be done through your Router(s). You can set up a VPN connection between your two routers and that would be all you need as far as the remote access goes. Everything else would be domain set up. Go to linksys.com and download the user guide for your router model. In there it will explain how to setup VPN.

Beyond a secure VPN connection you will also want the client for remotely accessing NT servers via Terminal Services, or something similar.
