Hi there,

Can someone help me with the question:
"How to log on to IBM Iseries Client Access using VBA macro in Excel?"

I have a number pf MSQueries linked to AS\400 machine located files. Updating each of the queries (using a macro} prompts me to log on to the AS\400.
Is there a way to automate that with VBA script?

Thanks,
Jurn.

maybe not.

Can you change the queries to use ADO instead of MSQuery?

If so you will be able to supply the username/password easily, otherwise I don´t know. AS400 Access drivers has a problem in some implementations where it does not allow other applications to "store" the username/password, and this may prevent MSquery from doing that.
