I used an older version of Premiere to do some work and saved some motion settings. It was convient to apply the same settings to other clips using the "Load" button in the motion settings window. I have upgraded to Premiere Pro but the new version doesn't have a "Save" or "Load" button.

Anyone know how I can use these old PMT files in the new version?

Thanks

Here's one way...

Put a clip with each of your motion settings into a project in the older version of Premiere. Maybe applying each effect to an explanatory tile would make it easier to keep track of what is going on later. Open and save the project again in PPro.

Then, when you want to get at the saved settings, import the project with the set of sample motions into a separate sequence in PPro and copy/paste attributes to transfer the motion settings to the target clip(s). Delete the sample sequence when you've done with it if you want to save space, but otherwise it won't show in the final timeline unless you want it to.
