How to link one parameter with another parameter 1

Hi,

I am new to crystal reports and i am facing a problem linking one parameter with another.
My problem is that i have a System Name from one table which is linked to the Well name in another table.
The user wants to select a System Name based on which the other parameter i.e the Well Name has to show.
There are around 25 system Names and 287 Well Name .
for example if i select the first System Name
i.e EC303 it has around 3 well
so my well Name parameter has to show only those wells which come under the selected System Name.

I would appreciate if anyone could give me a soultion to it

The list boxes for parameters that you are able to define in Crystal Reports are not dynamic. They are defined when you design the report.
If you want list boxes for parameter choices that are dynamic, then you will have to create these in another application that calls Crystal Reports, such as VB, and write your own code in VB to populate these list boxes with appropriate options.
This is a feature that many people have expressed interest in, but so far it is not yet part of the product. Malcolm Wynden

Hi,

I needed some help regarding charts.
My problem is that i have build a line graph based on two different tables on different x axis values into one single graph.
There are four values
eg.
Oil
Gas
Water
Tubing Pressure

The Oil,Gas and Water are recorded monthly ie. the 1st of every month and the Tubing Pressure is recorded daily.
The data is spread over two different tables.
A date range parameter has to be provided and then the graph has to plot the values of Oil,Gas,Water and Tubing Pressure based on the Date range selected.
My problem is that the Date Range is on a monthly basis and i have to show the tubing pressure for each and every day in the date range selected.

The x axis has to be on two different scales integrated into one.

I would really appreciate if anyone can give me an idea regarding how to go about it since i am new to crystal reports or whats the best solution to my problem.
