how to inserting affiliat links?

I am using dw4 for my site. i want to add a couple affiliate banners on my site, but i cant seen to acomplish this task. I used to use frontpage2k, and on there in design veiw i just inserted html from the menu and a little window poped up to insert the link. how do i do this in dw4?

Any help would be great

Place the coursor where you want it and then press Ctrl-Tab - this brings you to the source view. There you should be able to paste your new code...

If I'm wrong please post here what exactly you entered after the "insert HTML" in FrontPage - I once upon a time installed this product, but it was long since banned from my HD... s-) allow thyself to be the spark that lights the fire

I do not know how to write any html.
in frontpage on there in design veiw i just inserted html from the menu and a little window poped up to insert the link, it was called html markup.

What you entered is HTML - just Ctrl-TAB, see the source, ignore it, press Ctrl-V to paste your HTML ;-) and Ctrl-TAB again. That should do the trick... allow thyself to be the spark that lights the fire

Haslo, i did exactly what you told me to do and it worked except, in preview the link had the famous red x where the banner should be

Have you been online when previewing? The banner is fetched from the net (actually from the URL that stands right after the src=&quot;). Your code looks alright :-). allow thyself to be the spark that lights the fire
