I would like to include the Year Number in the title of a chart - something like "Count of Planned Works by Type for 2004".
I know I could enter it as text, but then I would have to modify the report for next year - would be Ok if there was only 1 or 2, but I have quite a number of reports/charts.
I'm using BO 5.1.7, connected to an Oracle 8.1.7 database.
I hope someone will be able to help me with this - many thanks in anticipation!

You could use the FormatDate function in business objects to pick up a date field and return just the year bit. This could then be concatenated with "Count of Planned...", etc.

The date field could be based on Refresh Date, or if historical reports are to be run then from a database table would be much better.

I do not think you can work in a variable into the title of a chart. It would be more manageble to bring in the year in the X-axis of the chart, though that is not exactly what you where looking for...

In Full Client you can set the title to say <object name> & " some text, etc "

Also tried this using a variable and it was ok.
