I am using Installer 1.1 to package a VB 6 application. It installs OK on Windows 2000 machines but on machines with Windows 98 I get a message that at least version 2.5 of MDAC must be installed first. How do you get the installer 1.1 to install mdac 2.5. Using the VB package and deployment wizard I believe that mdac was automatically included and installed with the package. Is the only solution to include a copy of MDAC 2.5 and actually run it before running the setup.exe?(which would not be a very good solution). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
