Ok here's my issue we recently upgraded our network with some nice shiny new servers. I'm try to implement the programs in the most secure way possible given what I have. There's no more room in the budget for more IT stuff so I have to use what I have.

I will list the stuff I need running that I don't have going right now.

Belmanage - Archives computer profiles like keys hardware specs. Must install IIS for it to work.

WSUS - We know what this is...again must have IIS.

Company Intranet - Easy enough...will need IIS but I'm also going to install PHP so I can vamp up our intranet some since I'm pretty good at PHP.

Custom Loan Review Program - This is something I wrote that use PHP and Mysql.

PHPBB Forum - Used only by me for record keeping etc.

This is what I have to work with.

Very fast duel Xeon Domain Controller with win 2003 and plenty of space.

New fast dual Xeon server with win 2003 on it going to be used as a Terminal Server.

Very old HP Netserve 60 with 512RAM and a 400 MHZ PII processor.

With that said currently the apps using php is on a win 2000 workstation but is also installed with a imporant app. I didn't know if it would be wise to have php running anywhere near my DC or any other business app.

So I thought about moving the php stuff to the old netserver getting php away from my important business app.

The other nice feature is that the old netserv has a backup drive so I can backup the php apps to tape.

I thought it would be best to keep the php stuff off the DC but what about IIS in general. I need to install WSUS again and get it running but I if I put it on the DC that means I'll need to install IIS again which I've heard is not good on a DC.

Should I look at putting WSUS on the system that will eventually be used lightly as a Terminal Server? We only have about 5-6 users that will be using it.

Any suggestions, thoughts, or pearls of wisdom would be much appreciated.
