How to implement a csu dsu in a home lab?

Is there any thing to learn from implementing a csu dsu in my home lab. I've a ciso csu dsu cable, so was curious about using it. I don't have a csu dsu router or device just the cable. On my lab I practice frame-relay and various routing protocol.

You don't need the CSU/DSU to practise for Frame Relay. Just connect the routers back-to-back, but be sure you have both DTE and DCE part of cable connected in one piece. Then on the router to which you will connect the DCE part use "clock rate" command to simulate clocking function of real CSU/DSU.
