How to identify all interfaces including not used ones

Hi,

What command can I use to identify interfaces, including the not configured ones. For example, using this command: ifconfig -a I can find the currently configured interface. But the interfaces not in use are not shown.

look in your /etc/path_to_inst or /dev and /devices folder. That should give you a clue, there is also a command prtconf I believe can't remember off the top of my head though.
