In our web application , our perl program constructs a list of pdf files which the user can click on to open. We do not want internet explorer to show the full path name of the file as the mouse is placed on each link. How can we hide the true path? Thanks to anyone who can help.

You may find a better answer in the HTML or Javascript forums, but here's what I've come up with:
Code:
<a href=&quot;#&quot; onClick=&quot;this.href='/path/to/your/file.pdf'&quot;>Click me</a>
