Does anyone know if there's a way to hide the netmeeting icon in the system tray. I have remote desktop sharing enabled on all the cpus here at work for admin purposes, and the end users somtimes mess around with it and turn off remote desktop sharing. It's getting really frustrating.

Thanks for any help.

Right click the systray icon and see if there's a selection for "Hide icon" or "Remove from systray" or similar....

Go into advanced settings in Netmeeting and look for same kind of setting.

look in your Startup folder for a shortcut reference...., Right click, choose properties, view start in and target boxes

See if there is a startup command that "alone" refers to the systray netmeeting icon through Start>Run MSCONFIG Startup tab..(the "Systray" you'll see is the whole tray, so that's not it.)
I'm saying more something like
"C:\Program Files\Netmeet\Netmeet.exe /load icon at boot"

You can uncheck the box and restart...now, you may end up stopping Netmeeting from starting automatically at boot time, but then you just recheck that box and restart if it has an undesired effect...
