(I don't know if the easiest way to do this is working with the vector (CDR) image or the raster image (CPT so I've posted it both forums.)
I have created a rectangular shape with a pattern fill in Corel Draw that I will export to a GIF image for use as part of web page art. The pattern fill is actually made using the grid feature in CDR. It is one contiguous fill rather than one that is tiled sized 800 by 150 pixels.
I would like this image to appear clearly visible on the left but fades to nothing on the right (to blend into the white background of the background).
Can I apply opacity to this image in CDR so that appears from left to right? Or, should I open the image in Corel PhotoPaint and try this there?
Thanks in advance!
